How to read the results
Answers match your intended positioning: messaging works. Run this quarterly as your traffic mix changes.
Answers are vague ("it's some kind of tool for..."): your hero section fails to connect problem to solution fast enough. The first 5 seconds of your page aren't doing their job.
Visitors describe a use case instead of a feature ("so I can know why visitors leave without guessing"): that is your real headline. Benefit-first messaging almost always outperforms feature-first — and your visitors just wrote it for you.
"Leave — not what I was looking for" is high: traffic/messaging mismatch. Either wrong visitors are arriving, or right visitors aren't recognizing themselves in your copy.
"Check pricing" is the top next step: strong buying intent. Make sure your pricing CTA is visible above the fold.
What to do next
Read every Q1 answer. Cluster into themes (usually 3-5 emerge in the first 50 responses).
Find the most accurate AND emotionally resonant description. That is your homepage H1.
If answers are all over the place: the page lacks a clear single message. Simplify before optimizing.
If Q2 shows visitors plan to "come back later": your urgency framing or value immediacy is weak. What can they try right now?
Test: rewrite H1 using the exact language from Q1 patterns. Re-run survey after 200 responses.
